It's only October, but apparently, we're all supposed to be getting ready for Christmas shopping season.  A new survey came out about people's MENTALITY toward their gift giving this year.

Here are the results:

1.  26% of people get COMPETITIVE about gift giving, and they want to make sure they give better stuff than their friends and family.

2.  45% of people buy back-up gifts, in case someone doesn't like what they give them or they have to give a present to someone they weren't thinking of.

3.  36% think it's irritating that some stores are already putting up holiday decorations . . . and 19% are stressed out just thinking about how Christmas season is coming.

4.  And finally, 19% feel guilty about regifting . . . but 65% of them do it anyway.
