Fans Rejoice as Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes’ ‘Señorita’ Music Video Reaches One Billion Views

Twitter is blowing up!

April 28, 2020

Today Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes fans are celebrating! The couple and musical duo reached one billion views on their music video for "Señorita." The video debuted less than a year ago, but both pop stars have an avid fan base, who are not only active on social media, but also incredibly loyal.

However this is not new territory for Mendes. The pop sensation now has three different music videos in his repertoire that have reached one billion views. "Treat You Better" as well as "Stitches" are both members of the billions club.

As for Cabello, this is her first time receiving one billion views on a video. Her hit single "Havana" came close 885 million views, but "Señorita" really sent the Top 40 queen over the edge. The video is not just a celebration of passion between Cabello and Mendes, but simply tells the story of two people who absolutely want and need each other. With Cabello sweetly echoing out lyrics like, “You say we’re just friends, but friends don’t know the way that you taste,” it’s hard not to be drawn into the melodically intimate video.

Fans have taken to Twitter to react to the success of "Señorita," and as a result #SenoritaOneBillion is now trending on Twitter. Many fanatics watched as the view count on YouTube crept up to one billion.

We are absolutely thrilled for Cabello and Mendes, and to be perfectly honest we know we definitely contributed to those one billion video views. We can’t wait to see what the couple does next.
